BHOPAL: A Bihar-based man working as a clerk with agriculture department in Patna has been arrested by MP Police for cyber-stalking and posting obscene messages on the Facebook account of a senior woman officer of Madhya Pradesh government, who is also a prominent writer.
The 42-year-old man started following the Facebook account of the Bhopal-based woman and used to like her posts.
Gradually, he started sending her personal messages through Facebook messenger and kept on bothering her by asking her to talk to him. When the woman did not respond and blocked him, the accused got enraged and made around half a dozen fake Facebook accounts and started sending her obscene messages through these fake accounts.
She reported the matter to the cyber cell and cops registered a case and arrested him from Patna on Tuesday.
